Oh the Wonders of an Organized Music Collection

Mae and Midterm

I started a long journey of deleting and re-downloading all my music about two months ago. It was simply easier to start from scratch than to organize the mess I had before. Everything is beautifully organized by 4 main folders:
Classical (22.8gb 5,371 files)
Electronica (12.6gb 1,812 files)
Main (125gb 31,651 files)
Soundtracks (2.67gb 1,243 files)
This brings a total of 163gb and 40,869 files. Within each of the 4 directories artists have their own folder and within each artist folder there are album folders. I have no orphan tracks since each track belongs to an album or single release. It is so satisfying to just stare at such a complete collection of so many artists works. I believe I have a new obsession and addiction to keeping this collection up to date and organized. If only there was a service that updated me on new album releases of my favorite artists.

I went to see Mae Wed night with Brian, Tim, and Bianca. It was awesome... and I am buying a Mae hoodie now! As we were waiting for signatures after the show, apparently the keyboardist ran outside and was hit by a car. I was unsure of my decision to go since it was 2 days before a big o-chem midterm that is 20% of my grade. I don't regret it a bit because I nailed the midterm today anways!
Going to the padres house for the weekend. Happy Birthday Mom and Andrea!
